Haylee is a Senior from Harrah High School and is planning to attend Oklahoma State University next year. She wanted her session to all be on campus because she loves the college. These are some of our favorite images from her senior portrait session here in Stillwater.
Happy Monday & happy springtime. I can’t believe that we are already seeing signs of Spring and I am so ready for it. As this week starts off we are saying how excited we are about couples like Amber and Adam who came into our lives. These two are the BEST! They are funny, easy going, and just an absolute joy to be around. It feels like we are hanging out with old friends. We had a fantastic time on their session and can’t wait until their wedding in the Fall.
Hey Everybody!
Sometimes you just have to stop and get away from all the day to day things that build up and see the big picture. We believe in vacations because it is a great time to regroup. So we did it. We went to Florida at the spur of the moment. Random trips are the best. We thought we might do it next year but no this was the right time for us.
We went to Cape Coral Florida where our parents have a home in the winter and visited with family while going to the beaches. We drove down through the south from Oklahoma. It took us two days as we went along the southern route a winter storm was getting ready to hit Oklahoma. We wanted to avoid all of that as much as possible.
When we got to Florida we decided to take the route along the Gulf and see some different towns. The Cypress trees were awesome and all the old towns along the route were enchanting.
We stayed all week and visited beaches in Boca Grande, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs and Fort Meyers. The temperature was in the 80’s all week and the beaches gorgeous but were a little crowded. We had a great time. I got to go out with my dad one morning on his boat in the cove where we saw dolphins and lots of birds. The water was calm and there was no wind. Perfect weather for boating.
On our way back we stopped at the Suwannee River State Park near Tallahassee. We fell in love with the live oak trees with the moss that hang over the river.
We would love to one day photograph a wedding in Florida.
Austin proposed to Ellen in December and plan to marry in October of 2015. We had a great time with them on their engagement session laughing and being silly. When they tried to do serious faces they would only last a few seconds before bursting into laughter. They meet in college so our session was on the OSU campus in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Enjoy.
Jenny & Chase love to dance. They are getting married in 2016 and are starting their wedding planning. Chase is a an aviation instructor and Jenny is still in college. These two were so full of energy and ideas on their engagement session. Please leave them some comments below.
Getting featured is such an exciting feeling for us. One of our funnest wedding was Saul and Michelle in Tulsa Oklahoma. At the Mayo Hotel. We love to photograph weddings in the Tulsa area.
